Belfast | Edinburgh
When I found out I will be going to England, I made sure that I will make it to Northern Ireland and Scotland. Visa process is always a bit of a crazy thing for me. So thankfully, flights to Northern Ireland wasn't that much at all, and I had a 10 hours layover in Edinburgh soooo, yesss - contacted a friend and had an early sunrise hike to see the city of Edinburgh comes alive!
And man, Belfast, what a city! Or I must say, what a country! Beautiful! I was there for a short 3 days and it was so easy to get everywhere. The coffees was amazing - sadly didn't take any photos of coffee from that day of coffee hopping. But then there was a big fire downtown in one of the historical building, which was sad. Northern Ireland was full of history with religions and divination, even until now. It was encouraging to hear that there is a church that is standing in between the walls of the Protestant and the Catholic, having doors on both side to say that anyone is welcome.
All that to say, if you ever want to visit this 2 city, DO IT! It was memorable. I will come back if I have a chance.
